Marcus Gwen Davis
April 30, 1939 ~ October 16, 2020 (age 81)

Marcus Davis passed away on Friday, October 16, 2020 in Durant, Oklahoma. Marcus was born to CJ and Valine Davis on April 30, 1939 in Dallas, Texas. Marcus graduated from High School in Lancaster, Texas in 1957. He became a carpenter after graduating and built many houses until he retired and moved to Calera, Oklahoma. He enjoyed watching Westerns, and the Dallas Cowboys. His hobbies was feeding the bird's and anything to do with plants.

Mr. Davis is survived by his daughter's, Charlsye Davis of Durant, Oklahoma, Jo Davis of Waxahachie, Texas, Sally Higginbotham and life partner Malissa Grinslade of Denison, Texas; Sons, Mike Davis of Burlerson, Texas and Jack Davis of Antlers, Oklahoma; brother Johnny and wife Jackie Davis, and Andy Davis; Grandchildren, Casey and wife Kara Davis, Chris and wife Shawna Davis, Holly Davis, Joey Davis, Hunter Mann, Joseph Mann, Jessica Davis, Ryan Davis, Dolly and Tyler Vivyan; numerous great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.

Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his parents CJ and Valine Davis; sister, Pat Turner; brother, Gary Davis; and granddaughter, Winter Starr Higginbotham.
