Larry Raye Davis

Larry Raye Davis was born October 16, 1946 in Purcell to Buster Otis Davis and Estelle Dela (Owens).  He passed away April 26, 2016 in Midwest City at the age of 69.

Larry worked in Law Enforcement for many years retiring in 1998 from the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office.  Many may remember him from TV as the spokesman for the problems with the Oklahoma County Jail construction.  He later retired a second time in 2013 after many years working for Oklahoma County Highway District 2.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; and numerous aunts and uncles. 

Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Janice Davis of the home; son, Stacy Davis; daughters, Kellie Jones, Sunni Faries; 6 grandchildren, Kylie, Christopher, Kayla, Zander, Grayson, Lillian; along with many other family and friends.

Larry�s family will host a memorial service at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
