Clifford Davis

April 07, 1925 ~ September 18, 2017

Private memorial services for Clifford Davis, 92, of Allen will be held at a later date.

Mr. Davis passed away Monday, September 18, 2017 at his home. He was born April 7, 1925 at Wesley, AR to Isaac and Daisy Roberts Davis. He and his wife Carmen, moved to Allen in 1997 from Lockeford, CA after his retirement.

He married Carmen October 23, 1949. She preceded him in death March 10, 2013. Mr. Davis was a self-employed auctioneer, appraiser and antique dealer. He enjoyed woodworking, reading, gardening, history, traveling, and telling stories.

Survivors include a daughter, Lynda Mayo and husband Danny of Lodi, CA; his grandchildren, Frankie and Mindy Bell of Allen, Earl Mayo of Roseville, CA, and Shannon and Angel Bell of Allen; and his great-grandchildren, Jasimine Mayo, Coyt Bell, Gina Mayo, Kayd Bell and Ford Bell.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Carmen; and a daughter, Cyndee Akins.
