Clyde Dean Davis

March 16, 1939 ~ November 13, 2005

Clyde Dean Davis Services: Thurs., Nov. 17, 1:30 p.m.

Graveside services will be held in North Kern Cemetery District, Delano, Thursday, November 17th at 1:30 p.m. for Clyde Dean Davis, 66, of Bakersfield, who passed away November 13, 2005 in a Bakersfield hospital. Pastor Ray Mendez will officiate.

Mr. Davis was born March 16, 1939 in Howe, Oklahoma and grew up in Delano, having resided in Kern County for the last 55 years.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; sons, Rick Davis and wife, Debbie, and Carl Davis and wife, Paula, all of Bakersfield; daughters, Pam Entenman and husband, Mike, of Las Vegas, Nevada and Susie Lara and husband, Johnny, of Bakersfield; 21 grandchildren; 8 great- grandchildren; great aunt, Alta Mae Wilson of Shafter and numerous nieces and nephews.

He loved woodworking and made many gifts for his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to camp, fish and enjoyed a challenging game of horseshoes with his friends. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all.

Honorary pallbearers will be Nicholas Davis, Jeremy Myrow, Josh Cole, Gabriel Sosa, Steven Hernandez, Eddie Barbosa, Justin Erwin and Joey Lara.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 16th from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Southwest Mortuary, 2739 Panama Lane, Bakersfield.

Clyde has gone home to be with his grandson, Tony.
