Helen Mildred (Blakemore) Davidson
December 15, 1915 ~ September 6, 2018

Helen M. Davidson, age 102 and resident of Bartlesville, Oklahoma passed away September 6, 2018 in the Bartlesville Health & Rehab Center.

Helen Mildred Blakemore was born on December 15, 1915 in Dallas, Texas. She was the daughter of William Saunders Blakemore and Sally (Crocket) Blakemore. She grew up in Greenville, Texas where she attended school, graduating high school in Greenville. She furthered her education by attending East State Teacher's College, where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree.

Helen married Joseph Reuben Davidson and they made their home in Terrell, Texas. She and her husband, Joe, were owners of the Joe Davidson Construction Company in Terrell. She was a homemaker as well as being active in the construction business office. She and Joe were also board members of Campus Crusade for Christ. After Joe's passing, Helen moved several times to Colorado and New Mexico, eventually moving to Bartlesville where she had continued her home since that time. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors include sons, Jack William Davidson and his wife, Linda, of El Dorado Hills, California and Jerry Saunders Davidson of Arvada, Colorado; daughter-in-law, Barbara Sue Davidson, of Bartlesville; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe; and her son, Dr. Joseph "Michael" Davidson.

Graveside services for Mrs. Davidson will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at noon at the Memoryland Memorial Park Cemetery in Greenville, Texas.
