Brenda Yvonne (Bolien) Daniels, 66, of Poteau, Oklahoma,
passed away on November 12, 2025. She was born on September 17, 1959, in Mt.
Vernon, Missouri to Mary Belle and Dallas Gene Bolien.
Brenda graduated from the College of the Ozarks in Branson, Missouri and later went to Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, California. Afterwards, she went on to dedicate her life to serving others as a missionary with the International Mission Board. She later attended Northeastern State University and graduated with a Masters in Science for Speech Pathology. A devout Baptist, her work touched many lives as she lived out her faith.
Brenda is survived by her three children: Yvonne Dylana Keller, Hannah Elizabeth Fletcher, and Allen Caleb Daniels. She is also remembered by siblings: Sherri Hughes, Mary “Jeane” Bolien-Forsythe, Phyllis Crawford, Michael Bolien, and Marietta Van Schuyver, half-siblings, extended family, friends, and all those whose lives were shaped by her touch.
Brenda’s legacy of service and faith will continue to live on in the many people she helped and the family she cherished.
A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church in Poteau, Oklahoma on Friday, November 21st at 4 PM. The address is: 300 North Witte Street, Poteau, OK 74953
