Terry Dan Daniel passed away Friday, March 21, 2025 at his home in Olney, OK. Terry was the baby of the family, born on November 16, 1952 to Clifford and Nora (Underwood) Daniel in Salinas, CA. Terry grew up in Olney, went on to graduate Olney High School in 1970. Terry worked at many different careers but always seemed to go back to operating heavy equipment. He retired from McAAP in April 2016 as a heavy equipment operator. In 2020, he moved back to the home place in Olney and was never happier. Terry enjoyed taking care of the place, tinkering on anything he could get his hands on and teaching his granddaughter, Lizzy everything he could. No matter what he was doing, his dog CJ was always there by his side.
Terry is survived by his daughter, Kerrie Daniel of Olney, OK; stepson Tracy Yates and wife Sherri of Edmond, OK; grand daughters Payton “Lizzy” Daniel of Olney, OK; Spencer Yates of Colorado; Chandler Yates of Edmond, OK; Kennedi Yates of Edmond, OK; sister, Linda Tomlinson and husband Wayne of Coalgate, OK; nieces Sunny Lynn Daniel of Coalgate, OK; Charlotte (Self) Weider and husband Greg of Germany; WaLinda Harbor and husband Robby of Stringtown, OK; JoAnn Ott of Coalgate, OK; nephews Darril Daniel of Beggs, OK; Don Self and wife Lisa of Yukon, OK; Daniel Tomlinson and wife Amanda of Stuart, OK. Along with many loved and dear friends.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Nora Daniel, brothers Keith Daniel and Morris Wayne “Sonny” Daniel, sister LaNell (Daniel) Self and niece Julie Daniel.

Family will have their service on Thursday, March 27, 2025 @ 10:00 AM @ the First Baptist Church in Coalgate. Pastor Jim Bob Lewis will be officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mickey Palmer, Rusty Langford, Johnny McClellon, Eddy Campbell and Andy Price
