April 16, 1941 ~ April 23, 2023

Betty Jo DaMico, 82, long time resident of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

She was born April 16, 1941, in Shawnee to Joe A. Brown and Ruby (Bristow) Brown.

Betty married Richard Frank DaMico on March 31, 1964, in Las Vegas, NV. Richard passed away August of 2006

She was a homemaker and helped with "Richard's Floor Care" and "DaMico's Steam Clean" businesses. After Richard passed, she worked in home healthcare. Spent the last few years caring for her mother, Ruby Brown. She has been a resident of Claremore, Oklahoma for the last 6 years.

Betty enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and gardening, she attended and a longtime member of Foyil First Assembly of God and involved with the Senior Group. Before dementia robbed her of her memories, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, stepson, Robert "Bobby" DaMico, daughter, Tinia Smith, grandson Tony DaMico, 1 great, great grandchild; 2 brothers, Johnnie Brown, and Jackie Brown.

Her memory is cherished by her son, Jackie "Artie" DaMico (Tracy) of Claremore; stepson Richard "Rick' DaMico (Connie) of Tecumseh; son-in-law, Scott Smith of Shawnee, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Hollie Coffman of Tecumseh. Angie Smith of Shawnee, Jackie "Rocky" DaMico of Broken Arrow; Mindy Smith of Shawnee, Richard Smith (Whittley) of Shawnee; 12 great grandchildren; many numerous nieces, nephews, and other family; and a host of friends.

Service will be 2:30 p.m., Friday, April 28, 2023, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Johnny Steiger officiating, under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.

Services will conclude at the funeral home.
