Betty Jean (Bower) Dailey
January 22, 1943 ~ December 25, 2019

Betty Jean Dailey, 76, passed on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at her home in Perry. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 3:00pm at Dighton Marler Funeral Home in Perry. Dighton Marler Funeral Home of Perry is entrusted with arrangements.

Betty was born on January 22, 1943 in Perry, Oklahoma to Frances Marguerite and Floyd Earl Bower.

She graduated from Perry High School graduated 1960. After graduation, she attended Enid Business College earning a degree in Junior Accounting in May of 1961. Betty Jean was small in stature with a heart that loved everyone. Betty enjoyed hiking in the outdoors. She particularly enjoyed the beauty of the trees and streams.

On her many travels, she enjoyed visiting with people at the jewelry shows she and Jon attended. Her personality was appreciated by everyone she encountered. Betty loved all music but country and western was her favorite. She was a fan of rodeo bull riding.

Betty is preceded in death by Troy (TJ) Palmer, her only son, both parents: Frances Marguerite Bower and Floyd Earl Bower and her brother Bobby Lee Bower of Perry, OK.

She is survived by her husband Jon Lee Dailey, her siblings: Ethel Delores Heppler of Perry, OK; Jackie Wayne Bower of Grove, OK, as well as 6 nieces and nephews.

The family greatly appreciates the care and compassion of the Hospice workers through many troubling times.
