October 4, 1956 ~ October 30, 2024

Joel Edward Cooper was born October 4, 1956, to Alvin Lawrence and Elvie Leona Cooper in Fresno, California. He departed this life Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at the age of 68.

He graduated from Depew High School in 1975. He worked at Barton Construction Company where he served as construction supervisor. He enjoyed fishing and tinkering with different carpenter projects. He had a heart for people, always willing to lend a helping hand.

He is survived by one daughter, Amber Sanchez; one son, Jesse Hilbert; two brothers, John Cooper, Bo Cooper and wife Di; one granddaughter, Amelia Sanchez; two nephews whom he raised as sons, Luke and Jeremiah Montgomery.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one baby daughter, Sharon Marie Cooper

Services are scheduled for 7:00PM, Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Home.
