Rita Breitler Conroy, 67, part-time resident of their farm in Love County and resident of Keller, Texas for 14 years, formerly a longtime Irving, Texas resident of 53 years, died Thursday, December 11, 2014, at her residence.
Services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 15 at Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, Irving with Reverend Bob Harper officiating. Interment followed at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, Irving.
Born May 24, 1947 in Dallas, she was the daughter of George A. and Dorothy C. Threadgill Breitler.
Rita graduated from Irving High School. On June 17, 1972, Rita married Jerry Conroy. She was an active member of Plymouth Park Baptist Church in Irving where she taught GA’s. Presently a member of First Baptist Church of Keller, she was a member of Bible Study Fellowship.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry of Keller; daughter, Patty Conroy Love of Keller; son, Billy Conroy and wife Sedette of Keller; grandchildren, Makenzie Love, Corey Love, Chandler Seth Conroy and Courtland Richard Conroy; great-grandson, Ayden Krones; sister, Bonnie Raddatz and husband Jerry of Irving and brother, George A. Breitler and wife Ann of Lantana, Texas.
