John Henry Cling

John Henry Cling
December 8, 1946 ~ July 25, 2017

John Henry Cling, 70, was born December 8, 1946 in Perry, Oklahoma to John H. Cling and Hazel Cling Davis. He was reared in Perry and went to Christ Lutheran School, then transferred to Perry schools. He was self-employed as a mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Cling; two children: Cindy Wallace and her husband Larry of Perry, and one son, John Cling of Ponca City; one brother, Allen Lee Ellis, Perry; and grandchildren:Ashley Rice, Perry; and Chantz Cling, Johnny Cling and Bailey Cling, all of Ponca City; and great grandchildren: Brody and Braydon Wallace and Alaina and Marley Rice; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents John H. Cling and Hazel (Rutherford) Cling Davis; and one nephew, Terry Ellis.

A celebration of life memorial will be held a 10 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2017 in the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel in Perry. Evangelist Ronnie Wilson will officiate.
