Hazel L. "Sue" (Lane) Clifford

September 30, 1935 ~ May 18 2005

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 24, at 3:00 p.m., in the Kern River Family Chapel, 1900 N. Chester Ave. for Hazel L. Clifford, who passed away May 18, 2005.

Born September 30, 1935, in Dustin, Oklahoma, moved to Bakersfield California in 1954. Married E. J. Clifford March 30, 1957, they have been married for 48 years. They had three children, Sheena Clifford of Bakersfield, Jim Clifford and wife, Emma of Lost Hills and Tammmy Roper and husband Mike of Porterville.

Hazel loved her family, cooking and gardening. She retired in 1995 and moved to Lake Eufaula, Oklahoma. Moved to Porterville, CA, in 2001, because of illness to be close to the ones sho love her.

Her family and 4 sisters survive Hazel: Dean White, Velta Peirce, Margaret Dennison, Barbra Hill and 1 brother, George L. Lane, Jr.; 7 grandchildren, James clifford, Keith Clifford, Kris Clifford, kayla Krieger, Korey Krieger, Justin Clifford and Jacob Roper; 2 great-grandchildren: Grace Clifford and Kaitlyn Clifford.

She is preceded in death by her father George L. Lane, Mother, Rosa Lee Lane and five brothers, Ken Lane, Ben Lane, Les Lane, Alfred Lane and Tom Lane.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Optimal Hospice of Porterville, and to Dr. Reyes for the special care of our loved one.
