Cynthia Lynne (Chappell) Clark
July 28, 1952 ~ July 22, 2019

Cynthia Lynne (Chappell) Clark, born on July 28, 1952, beloved wife, mother, and sister joined her parents in heaven on July 22, 2019.

Cynthia lived in Guthrie all her life. She graduated from Guthrie High School in 1971 and on September 3, 1977 married Charles Clark. She was a member of Guthrie Christian Church.

Cynthia was a talented artist and loved to paint for her friends and family. She particularly loved painting lighthouses and landscapes. She also enjoyed making jewelry and ceramics, crocheting, and sewing.

She is survived by her husband Charles George Clark of the home, son Charles Aaron Clark and wife Sarina of Tuttle, son Christopher Clark and wife Kelli of Mustang, brother Clifton Chappell and wife Sara Jane of Guthrie, brother Randy Chappell and wife Ruth of Guthrie, grandchildren Jack, Lizabeth, Annah, and Amanda, and a number of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends . Cynthia is also survived by her constant companion, Bella the cat.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents Warren and Lorene Chappell and Spooks the cat.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Riepe officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Friends of Guthrie Animal Shelter (FOGAS), P.O. Box 1557, Guthrie, OK 73044.

Services are under direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
