Darin Deon Clanton
June 17, 1959 ~ October 05, 2017

Darin Deon Clanton, 58, of Chickasha, died Thursday, October 5, 2017, at his home. The son of Jerry Whitlow Clanton and Pearlie Mae (Dreadin) Clanton, he was born June 17, 1959 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. 

Deon worked many years as a driller and was a member of the New Beginnings Church in Naples. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, going to the lake, skiing and riding jet skis. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Doug and Dane Clanton; sister, June Palmer; and stepfather Harold "Jay" Nixon. 

Deon is survived by his three daughters, Misty Clanton, of Colorado, Amanda Clanton of Tulsa, and Deonna Clanton of Chickasha; one son, Jordan Clanton of Chickasha; nine grandchildren, Elijah, Lily, Vega, Jesse, Izabella, Izaiah, Jasmine, Deon, and Fiona; one sister, Lillian Nixon of Purcell; and two brothers, Denny Clanton of Colorado and Jeff Elledge and his wife, Kim, of Dibble; and many other loved ones and friends. 

The family will hold a memorial service at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 9, 2017, at New Beginnings Church in Naples.

 Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
