Glynda (Logwood) Churchill
July 1, 1940 ~ February 27, 2024

Glynda Logwood Churchill, 83, resident of Durant, Oklahoma since 2023, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. Glynda was born on Monday, July 1, 1940 at Foster, Oklahoma to William Henry Logwood and Helen Louise (Bruton) Logwood.

Glynda attended Palm Beach High School and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She married the love of her life, Charles Norman Churchill on December 28, 1962 at Las Vegas, Nevada. Charles preceded her in death on September 16, 2012. They had also lived in Kerrville, Texas, Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire, and Montrose, Colorado. Glynda worked as a CPA and served as the Controller for Park Construction Corporation of Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire for many wonderful years. She was a member of the Independent Baptist Church. Glynda enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.

Glynda was also preceded in death by her sister, Emma Jo Deatch Dietsch.

She is survived by her son, David W. Churchill and his wife, Shannon, of Pottsboro, Texas; daughter, Shannon C. Bozarth and her husband, Greg, of Walland, Tennessee; grandchildren Torrey Tynes, Aynsley Oller, Kendyl Ramsey, Sydney Blain, and Taylor Howard; and 6 great grandchildren.

A cremation burial will take place at a later date at Maple Street Cemetery in Bethlehem, New Hampshire.

The Churchill family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Featherstone Memory Care for the care given to their mother during her time there.
