Larry Scott Christner

 April 10, 1960 ~ August 5, 2022

Scott Christner was born in Sidney, Nebraska, on April 10, 1960, to Kent and Elaine Christner. He passed on August 5, 2022, in Norman, Oklahoma, at the age of 62 after a short illness.

Scott graduated from Enid High School in the class of 1978. He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from NWOSU and became a CPA. He worked for several oil and environmental companies in northwest Oklahoma during his career. In 2013 he moved to Norman to care for his father. During these years, he served as Produce Manager for Wal-Mart.

On January 4, 1980, he married Melanie Haiduk. Although they divorced in 2013, they liked to watch their grandson's soccer games together, as well as getting together for a few day trips each year with their kids and grandson.

Scott is survived by his daughter, Erika Christner of Enid and son, Gabriel Christner, also of Enid, and one grandson, Oliver Christner. He is survived by several cousins. He is also survived by special friends Mark, Tim, and Susan, as well as his cat, Pearl. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A joint memorial service for both Scott and his father, Kent, who passed on July 22nd, will be held on August 11, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 603 Classen Blvd., Norman, Oklahoma.
