Robert "Bob" Christensen passed from this life on May 28, 2018 at 91 years 5 months and 10 days and was a resident of Mutual, OK.

Bob was born on December 18, 1926 to Frank Dewey and Birdie Franklin (Sutherland) Christensen in Thomas, OK.

Bob was raised by his father and mother Minerva Christensen on the farm in Mutual, OK where he attended and graduated from Mutual Public Schools in 1945.

Bob served in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Private First Class. During his time in the military he worked as a supply clerk, a truck driver, and then was honorably discharged.

He married Mary Beth Allison on May 6, 1947 in Canadia, TX and to this union were born five sons: Bobby Joe, Frank Craig, Mark Leon, twin boys, and one daughter Melanie Ann.

Bob worked for the county 38 years. After his retirement, he went into farming and ranching where the love of his cattle was his passion for many years. At a young age, Bob was baptized at Putnam, OK. After moving to Mutual, OK he attended the Mutual Christian Church where he was a faithful servant in many areas of the church, including his love for the youth.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Birdie Christensen, Minerva Christensen, twin boys, daughter Melanie Ann Christensen, 2 brothers Marion D. Christensen and Deon Christensen, and other relatives.

He is survived by his wife Mary Beth Christensen; his sons Bobby Joe and wife Jayne Christensen of Midwest City, OK, Frank Craig and wife Linda Christensen of Seiling, OK, Mark Leon Christensen of Phoenix, AZ, Bob's adopted son James Walker of Phoenix, AZ, Tom and Gena Christensen of Seiling, OK, Dee and husband Trigg Snyder of Enid, OK; grandchildren Brandi and husband Kenton Levings, Adam and wife Trisha Christensen, Jeremy and wife Jenifer Christensen, Corey and wife Carolyn Christensen, Jay and wife Tina Christensen, Wesley Christensen, Whitney Christensen; 16 great grandkids; and many more friends, family, and loved ones.
