There will be a private family memorial service for Bert Choate, 57-year-old Enid resident, at a later date. Arrangements are under direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
Bert was born January 5, 1956, in Hennessey, Oklahoma, to Matt and Minnie (Kessler) Choate, and died suddenly at his home Sunday, December 22, 2013.
He was a mason worker his entire life.
He is survived by his wife, Sam; sisters, Madonna, Carol, Joyce, Connie and Nita; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Mike, Danny and David.
