Robert Eugene Childress

December 23, 1980 ~ July 20, 2018

Robert Eugene Childress, 37, of Ochelata, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, July 20, 2018 at The Journey Home.

Robert was born December 23, 1980 to parents Steven and Linda (Foster) Childress in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He attended Caney Valley High School where he then graduated. Robert worked as an electrician for most of his adult life.

Robert loved the outdoors. He loved to go camping, hunting, fishing and just driving around on the backroads. While he loved the outdoors, the passion in his life were his children. He loved them with all his heart.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother Linda; father Jeff Richards and all of his grandparents.

He is survived by his children Shelbi, Hannah and Jeffery Childress, all of Collinsville; his father Steven of Ochelata; Pat Childress of Claremore, Oklahoma and a host of family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel.
