Amanda Eve Chavez-Pitti
April 8, 1985 ~ August 19, 2017 (age 32)

Amanda Eve Chavez-Pitti was born in Duncan, Oklahoma, on April 8, 1985, to Jose Ricardo and Rosemarie Chavez. She passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017, in Tijuana, Mexico, at the age of 32.

A wake service is scheduled for Sunday, August 27, from 7-9 P.M. at the Assumption Catholic Church.

Funeral mass will be on Monday, August 28, at 10:00 A.M. at the Assumption Catholic Church with Father Peter Jandaczek officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.

Amanda graduated from Duncan High School and also attended Cameron University in Lawton. She married Edward Constantine Pitti in Duncan on April 22, 2017. She worked at Stephens County Abstract Company.

She was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church. She enjoyed dirt biking, traveling, going to movies, family gatherings, and making other people happy.

Amanda is survived by her husband, Edward; her son, Eli Vincent Cruz Pitti; her parents, Jose' Ricardo and Rosemarie Chavez; her brother, Jose Ricardo Chavez, Jr.; her sisters, Paulina Salinas, Lillie Nicole Garcia-Soto, and Bianca Priscilla Wilson; and 10 nieces, Magdalena Christine Martinez, Angel Reyes, Anna Marie Reyes, Emily Ann Reyes, Elizebeth Ann Reyes, Ivette Rene Reyes, Lilliana Arellano Soto, Amelia Lizbeth Soto, Khloee Grace Chavez, and Avery Juliet Chavez; and 6 nephews, Job Mario Martinez II, Kelsen Miguel-Angel Reyes Jr., Arturo Ambrosio Reyes, Fabian Efraen Soto, Aden Isaiah Reeves and Liam Paul Wilson. 

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Jane Rodriguez and Evangelina Cruz-Chavez; her grandfather, Pedro Javier Chavez; her great-grandmother, Amilia Rodela; and John, Tinker and Katherine Hruby.
