Mildred Ruth (Moore) Charter, 82, of Barnsdall, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2026, in Bartlesville. She was born on October 5, 1943, in Champaign, Illinois, to Robert Lee Moore and Inis Irene Moore.
Mildred attended Barnsdall Public Schools and dedicated her life to her family. She was united in marriage to Rev. Kenneth Wayne Charter, with whom she shared many years of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Above all else, Mildred treasured her family. She found joy in spending time with those she loved and created lasting memories that will forever be held close by those fortunate enough to know her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Inis Irene Moore; her daughter, Kenna Foote; her sister, Donna Marie Townley; and her brother, Alan Lee Moore.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Bruce L. Charter; her grandson, Brett Spears; her great-granddaughter, Natalie Spears; her sister, Pamela Gaddis; along with numerous extended family members and dear friends.
A memorial service celebrating Mildred's life will be held at the Assembly of God Church in Barnsdall, Oklahoma, on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
Mildred's gentle spirit, unwavering love for her family, and kind heart will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched. Her legacy of love and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of her family for generations to come.
