Terri Jean (Weathers) Chapman

February 11, 1954 ~ August 28, 2022

Terri Jean (Weathers) Chapman, resident of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022. She was 68.

Terri was born on to James Weathers and Robinette (Jones) Weathers in Chattanooga, TN. She was raised in Trenton, GA, then resided in Chattanooga, TN. On July 20, 1986, she married Ronnie Chapman. She worked as a postal clerk for USPS for over 30 years in Tonkawa. She was even named Employee of the Year in 2011 by the Tonkawa Chamber of Commerce. She loved her job and people.

She had many hobbies including fishing and gardening. She loved everyone and everyone loved her back.

Terri is survived by husband Ronnie Chapman, son Wade Chapman and wife Meredith of Hixson, TN, son Ryan Chapman and wife Chelsea of Ponca City, OK, son Kyle Lindsey and wife Abigail of Ponca City, OK, daughter Isabella Chapman of Ponca City, OK, grandchildren Natile, Colby, Cortni, Kyson, Connor, Blake, Jaden, Gabrielle, Noah, Isaac, Ashton Hile, and Lane Meadows. great-grandchildren Ky, Kross, and Kruz, and Kier.

She is preceded in death by her parents James and Robinette Weathers, and brothers James and Ernest.
