Virginia Chaney

June 24, 1927 ~ January 26, 2009

Virginia Chaney, 81 of Arkoma, Oklahoma passed away, Monday, January 26, 2009 in Fort Smith. She was born June 24, 1927 in Birmingham, Alabama. She was retired from Whirlpool Corporation.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 30, 2009 at Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.

She is survived by four daughters: Donna Anderson of Poteau, Oklahoma, Dorinda Young of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Christy Mitchael and her husband Ron of Fort Smith, and Renee Risenhoover of Muskogee, Oklahoma; two sons Michael Young and Leona of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Daryle Young and his wife Melissa of Muskogee, Oklahoma; sister Dorotha Carter of Dixon, California; 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; She is also survived by her very special companion Malcolm Wisniewski of Bonanza.

Pallbearers will be Erik Anderson, Dusty Riggs, Jason Young, Alex Risenhoover, Tyler Young, and Taylor Risenhoover.
