Steven Lee Chambers

Steven Lee Chambers
December 7, 1960 ~ January 7, 2021

On Thursday, January 7, 2021, Steven Lee Chambers, loving husband, father, brother and son passed away. Steve was born in Casa Grande Arizona December 7, 1960 to Donald Lee and Laura Gayle Chambers. Steve spent more than 30 years as a cabinet maker. On December 19, 1992 he married Reba Marlene Carey. They raised two daughters, Christina and Tamara.

Steve enjoyed woodworking but his passion was fishing (which is evidenced by his massive collection of fishing tackle and the bags of fish taking up freezer space). Steve was a master cabinet maker. His beautiful work and talent often amazed people.

Steve loved a lot. He loved his wife Reba. He loved his kids. He loved people and animals and the great outdoors. He loved camping and spending time with family and friends but mostly he loved life. Steve was a joker and no target was off limits. He would occasionally misjudge someone or go just a little too far with his joking. It was always funny but would sometimes cause an awkward situation. This was Steve and people who knew him loved him, laughed with him and wanted to be around him. He will be greatly missed.

Steve is survived by his wife Reba of the home, his daughters Christina Chambers of Bella Vista, Arkansas and Tamara Mullen and husband Justin of Westville, Oklahoma, his mother Gayle of Spavinaw, Oklahoma, three brothers, Robbie Chambers and wife Joyce of Salina, Oklahoma, Ronald Hawkins and wife Shealene of Cedar Creek, Texas and Larry Hawkins and wife Vanessa of Greenbrier, Arkansas.

Steve was preceded in death by his father Donald Chambers.
