Robert Dale "Bo" Chambers
August 13, 1943 ~ November 29, 2020

Robert Dale “Bo” Chambers was born August 13, 1943 in Crescent, Oklahoma to Alfred Chambers and Mary Ella Rice-Sanderson. He passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK with family by his side.

Bo grew up in Del City and Crescent, OK. On June 8, 1973 he married the love of his life, Teresa June Powell. The two lived in Crescent and Guthrie, OK.

Bo worked various jobs in the Oil Field for many years. In 1986 he became “THE BEST” road grader for Logan County District 3. He owned and operated a Racing Collectibles shop for over 15 years.

Bo was a dedicated father and a loving grandfather to seven grandchildren. He enjoyed going to the Casino and spending time with Teresa. Bo loved ALL things Auto Racing related. He was a pit crew member for many years at the Oklahoma City Fairgrounds. He loved Sprint Cars, Trucks, and NASCAR. He attended many races around the country. He loved the OKC Thunder and OU. He loved scratching tickets at Tony’s every morning and hanging out with friends. He always had a smile on his face. He was the most positive person you could ever meet.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Teresa; three children, Jerry (JP) Powell of Midwest City and Tonya Cummings and husband Greg of Crescent and Tory Drew and husband Derek of Guthrie; seven grandchildren Tanner Powell, Jacob Powell, Taryn Heiden, Kaylee Chambers, Tobi Cummings, Tatum Cummings, Alexander Cramer.

There will be no service or visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.
