Doris Marie (Hall) Chalker

Doris Chalker was born August 6, 1918 in Baird, Texas to Etoile and Otto Wilson Hall. She passed away January 1, 2016 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 97 years 4 months and 25 days.

She was married to Samuel Esten Chalker at Abilene, Texas on June 4, 1942. She was a Homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 sister, Billie Jean Burger and 1 brother, Dale Hall.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Sammye Buchanan and husband, Wayne, Erick, OK, and Claudia Fontenot and husband, Terry, Breaux Bridge, LA; 1 brother, Terry Chalker and wife, Janet, Forest, VA; 1 granddaughter, Samathana Chalker, Williamburg, VA; 1 brother, James Hall and wife, Eugenia, Breckinridge, TX; 2 sisters, Patsy Waller, Derby, KS; and Peggy McKechnie and husband, Bob, North Little Rock, AR; host of nieces, nephews, other, relatives and friends.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
