Bob Carter, of Pauls Valley, passed away June 14, 2026 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years.
Bob was born July 17, 1936 in Willow Township, Wisconsin to John Everett Carter and Esther Idell Carter.
He served in the United States Marine Corps. Bob was a very active member of New Life United Pentecostal Church in Pauls Valley. After his tour of duty he and Judith Grace Reimer were married in Minnesota on July 6, 1963. They moved to make Pauls Valley their home where he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Garvin County, and in the Oil Fields.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Esther Wood; wife, Judy Carter; daughter, Linda Carter; and great granddaughter, Rebekah Grissam.
His surviving family includes his children, Darcie Boney and husband, Michael, Shane Carter and wife Shelly, and Danny Carter; and by his grandchildren, Bryan Boney, Alaina Ealey, Cori Leon, Dylan Carter, and Morgan Morris; a host of great grandchildren; and his sister, Shirley Wruble.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 1:00 pm at New Life United Pentecostal Church officiated by Rev. Josh Riley and assisted by Rev. Michael Boswell and Rev. Michael Boney.
