Michael Lynn Byrd

Michael Lynn Byrd
July 18, 1968 ~ February 4, 2026

Michael Byrd, 57 of Pink Oklahoma, passed from this life on February 4th, 2026. He was a charismatic and outgoing man whose warmth, personality, and spirit drew people to him effortlessly. He had a way of making others feel welcome, heard, and valued, and his presence brought life and energy wherever he went.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sheila Byrd, and his sister, Tammy Finn.

He leaves behind his beloved son, Josh Byrd, whom he loved deeply and took great pride in; two brothers, John Byrd and Alvin Byrd; two sisters, Misty Barnett and Sherile Shepherd, Jodee Hess as well as brother-in-law, Kevin Shepherd; foster mom Marry Wallace; long time friend, Joey Rodgers; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

While we mourn his passing, we do not sorrow as those without hope. We stand on the promise of God’s Word, trusting in the resurrection and life everlasting. The Scripture declares, “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live” (John 11:25, KJV). We take comfort in knowing that this life is not the end, and we look forward to that great reunion promised to the faithful.

We commit Michael Byrd into the hands of a just and merciful God, confident in His grace and assured of the hope of eternity.
