Raul Garcia Bustamante, of Bokchito, passed away at Medical City Plano on October 6, 2024, from injuries sustained in a car accident, at the age of 57. He was born on February 1, 1967, in Monterrey, Mexico to Manuel Garcia and Ygnacia Bustamante.
Raul was a laid-back and fun-loving guy who loved spending time with his wife Patty prior to her passing in 2023. He also enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and especially grandkids. Raul took pride in working hard. He was employed by Durant Iron and Metal prior to his death. In his free time, he also enjoyed tending to his animals.
Those surviving Raul are his sisters; Maria, Irma, Martha and Patricia; his brothers; Manuel, Jose, Cesar, and Jaime Garcia-Bustamante. Raul's legacy lives on with his stepdaughters, Trish and husband Jeff Tennison, Crystal Toney and husband Justin. Stepson, Bo Peebles and wife Marsha. Grandchildren; Zane Trent, Bailey Peebles, Hank Peebles, Austin Covington and Cole Covington, and numerous extended family and friends.
Preceding Raul in death are his parents Manuel Garcia and Ygnacia Bustamante and his wife Patty Peebles, and his brother Rafael Garcia-Bustamante.
Cremation services have been selected and no memorial is planned at this time. The family will host a celebration of life ceremony in the near future.
