Era Burt, 101 year old Woodward resident passed away Friday, September 25, 2026 in Woodward. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2026 at the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Donnetta Hunter officiating.
Era Alyene Burt of Woodward, Oklahoma was born in Stanton, Texas to Dave and Annie Farrington.
She was a sister to two brothers & three sisters. Alyene was mother to Patsy, Robert & Wanda. She was a grandmother to 6 grandchildren, great grandmother to 13 grandchildren, and great-great grandmother to 11 grandchildren. She was also step mother to 8.
Alyene loved to garden, mostly flowers, eating at restaurants, meeting & talking to people as she never met a stranger. She loved coffee, adventures & hugs, and she was tickled being 101 years old.
Alyene is survived by a daughter Patsy (Dale) Mills; son Robert (Brenda) Cox; grandchildren, Leray (John) Humble, Ryan (Alexis) Humble, Tyler (Sharise) Humble, Wendell (Cindi) Mills, Dustin (Crystal) Mills, Kacie (Marc) Johnson, Donovan (Melissa) Mills, Tawny (Blake) Davis, Hunter Mills, Charity Cox, Dion (Dee) Cantellay, Chris Cantellay, Dayle Cantellay, Dexter Cantellay, Daphne Cantellay, Zakk Wiley, Kayleigh, Parker, Tommie, Kaitlyn, Bane, Boyd, Malachi, Zayden, Tom Kennedy, Ed Kennedy, Joan LaForte (Mark) Leann Kennedy, Jack Kennedy (Teresa), Jerry Kennedy (Melissa), Nancy Threlfall (Terry), Paula Hopkins (Joe); nieces, nephews & many friends.
