November 15, 1947 ~ March 4, 2026

Billy Dean Bryant, 78-year-old Vinita resident, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the Saint Francis Vinita Hospital. He was born on November 15, 1947, in Vinita to Carl and Avenell (Trimble) Bryant. Billy was a graduate of Afton High School in 1966. On October 18, 1967, Billy married the love of his life, Ginger Dianne Holt in Vinita. He worked in the Oil and Gas industry for many years, including Green Country Oil and Gas Company, he also ran a service station for a time. Bill was a member of the Amazing Grace Chapel near Langley. He was well known in the local softball leagues, his cigar and old ball glove, along with being an amazing player, made him well known in the leagues. Bill also enjoyed riding horses, going hunting, building things, mowing, and painting. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Avenell Bryant, and a brother, Tommy Bryant.

The family includes his wife Ginger of the home; son, Billy Bryant and wife Melanie of Pensacola; daughter, Christy Henderson of Vinita; grandchildren, Emilee Sanders and husband Shawn of Vinita, Callie McGuire and husband Casey of Adair, Nathan Peetoom and wife Daisy of Big Cabin, Whitney Love and husband Matt of Spavinaw, Austin Bryant and Dawson Henderson; great-grandchildren, Trigger, Taylor, Kasen, Carder, Triton, Logan, Calen, Joell, Waylon, Ben, Doris, Beverly, Mavis, Madilynn and Sophie; his brothers, Ronnie Bryant and wife Paula of Vinita, and Bobby Bryant and wife Helen of Texas; numerous other relatives and friends.

The celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Burckhalter-Highsmith Chapel in Vinita, Pastor Allen Byrd will officiate. Online condolences may be made at www.highsmithfh.com or on the funeral home Facebook page. Arrangements are in the care of the Burckhalter-Highsmith Funeral and Cremation Services of Vinita. “Vinita’s only locally family owned and operated funeral home.”
