Roger Dale Broyles
April 10, 1951 ~ July 1, 2025

Roger Dale Broyles, 74, of Silo, OK, passed from this life on July 1, 2025, at his home. He was born on April 10, 1951, in Durant, OK, to Arthur Ray Broyles and Irene Broyles (Lamar).

Roger attended and graduated from Durant High School. He was a member of Mead Baptist Church. Roger was a jack of all trades. He could do just about anything he set his mind to. He was a welder, bus driver, maintenance worker at Silo Public Schools, and worked at Walmart. Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting things.

Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Broyles and Irene Broyles, sister, Carolyn Bonds, and sister, Lynda Winters.

He is survived by his son, David Broyles and spouse Twyla of Oklahoma City, OK, brother, Wayne Broyles of Durant, OK, brother, Lewis Broyles of Arlington, TX, brother, Gene Grounds of Bennington, OK, sister, Patricia Stafford, sister, Juanita Green of Durant, OK, 3 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

A memorial service for Roger will be held on Wednesday, July 9th, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Brown’s Funeral Service chapel in Durant, OK.

Services are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Services.
