Robert Brown

July 22, 1944 ~ August 25, 2018

Robert Brown passed peacefully on August 25 at home after a short battle with lung cancer.

He was born on July 22, 1944 in Orange County, California to David and Mildred Brown.

Robert attended Horace Mann Elementary and graduated from Shawnee High School in 1963.

He proudly served his country with the Oklahoma 95th Army Reserves.

Enjoyed fishing the Arkansas River and building old cars, 55-57 Chevy's being his favorites. Most of all hanging out at twin brother, Richard's garage or under Don Gibson's shade tree.

Robert was preceded in death by his parent; brothers, David and Billy; also sister, Betty Gober.

Left to share memories are wife, Elaine of the home; sister, Kathy Kroeling; and twin brother, Richard; 4 daughters; 2 sons; 9 grandkids; and 3 great-grandkids.

A Celebration of Life service will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Horseshoe Bend, 46309 Garretts Lake Road in Shawnee. Cremation arrangements by Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh. There will be no viewing.
