L. P. "Brownie" Brown, Jr.

Aug. 9, 1926 ~ June 17, 2003

OKLAHOMA CITY - L.P. "Brownie" Brown Jr., 76, died Tuesday, June 17, 2003, in Oklahoma City.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in United Methodist Church of the Servant in Oklahoma City with Dr. Curtis Nigh officiating.

Brownie was born Aug. 9, 1926, in Duncan, to L.P. and Vio Brown Sr. He married Marilyn L. Kent and she was the love of his life for more than 53 years.

The Browns had two daughters, Carolyn Brown and Cathy Brown-Hall; two grandchildren, Drew Hall and Allison Hall.

Brownie's faith and family were the light of his life. He will be truly missed by his family, friends and the many people he touched along the way.

In lieu of flowers, to honor Brownie's life, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Solutions, INC.; 7471 East 46th Place, Tulsa, OK 74145.
