 Lu Bertha (Davis) Brown

January 10, 1924 ~ January 17, 2007

Memorial service Lu Bertha Brown, 83, Duncan, Oklahoma, will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 24, 2007, in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Chickasha, Oklahoma with Tom Bickford officiating.

Arrangements were made under the direction of Jefferson Funeral Home, Lawton, Oklahoma.

LuBertha Brown died January 17, 2007 in Duncan, Oklahoma, following a lengthy illness.

She was born January 10, 1924 in Hobart, Oklahoma to Elzree Butler and Walter Davis.

She married Joe Reto Brown in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She was a faithful Jehovah's Witnesses for 31 years.

She worked in the Chickasha area for many years, including Chickasha Laundry, Pet Milk, and some domestic work.

She was preceded in death by both parents, her only son Jerry W. Brown, and granddaughter, Robin Brown.

Survivors include her husband of the home, Joe Reto Brown; four granddaughters, Sandra Lolar of Duncan, Oklahoma; Debra Castillo of Atlanta, Georgia; Kristy Hil; and Stephanie Brown of Los Angeles, California; and one grandson, Darvin Brown of California; Two sisters, Jewel Owens of Chickasha, Oklahoma; and Ida Pearl Rolland of Yukon, Oklahoma. plus many close friends and relatives.
