Harold Blaine Brown

Harold Blaine Brown
July 22, 1935 ~ December 8, 2017

Harold Blaine Brown was born July 22, 1935 on Workman Mountain in Stilwell, Oklahoma, and departed this life on December 8, 2017 at his home in Stilwell at the age of 82 years.

Harold graduated Stilwell High School in 1953. He served in the United States Army from January 1955 through December 1957. He married Glenda May Bennett on November 14, 1962.

Harold enjoyed his animals and loved children. Harold and Glenda had two children and became loving grandparents to their granddaughter and great-grandchildren. Their home has been a special place for many children throughout the years. Harold was a surrogate grandfather to his great-nieces, Chasity and Chloe Brown, and the Sanders family, Alexis, Brady and Charlie.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Brown; sister, Geraldine Edwards; brother, Jerry "Mose" Brown, and infant grandson, Harold Brown.

He is survived by his wife Glenda Brown of 55 years; mother, Rosa Brown of Stilwell; brother, Roy Brown and his wife Sandy of Stilwell; son, Clifford Brown of Stilwell; daughter, Rhonda Gibson and her husband, Benny, of Stilwell; granddaughter, Mandi Bolin and her husband, Eric, of Springdale, Ark.; great-grandchildren, Rhys and Lorelei Bolin of Springdale, Ark.; many nieces and nephews, and extended family.

Memorial services were held Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Bidding Creek Southern Baptist Church, Stilwell, with Brother Chuck Glass officiating. Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell
