Joe Glyn Brooks, age 76, of Lawton passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at his residence.

Joe was born on November 5, 1941 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Morris and Eva (Cunningham) Brooks. He grew up and attended high school in Atlanta, Georgia. After graduation, Joe enrolled in school at Oklahoma State University, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree. He moved to Germany where he met his true love, Ingeborg "Inge" Kohler. They were married in Germany in 1967 and would spend the next forty-nine wonderful years together.

Preceded in death by his parents, Eva and Morris Brooks and one brother, Burt Brooks, Joe is survived by his wife, Inge Brooks; one step daughter and one grandson along with numerous other relatives and close friends.
