John Aaron Bristow Sr, 65, born on March 2, 1961 to Daniel and Wanda Bristow in Shawnee, OK. John gained his Wings on April 15, 2026.
John was the kind of man who felt most at home under an open sky-surrounded by horses, cattle, and the roar of a fast car. He didn't need much to be happy, just the freedom of the outdoors and the people he loved by his side.
At his core, John was about family. The time he spent with his children, grandchildren, and close friends meant everything to him. He showed his love not always in words, but in his presence, his loyalty, and the way he stood by the people who mattered to him. That kind of love leaves a mark that doesn't fade.
He is survived by his sons, John Aaron Bristow Jr. and Lauren, Jonathon Kyle Baker, Rayden Paul and Lilie Bristow, and Aidan Cole Veliu. His daughters, Kimberly Michelle and Chris King, Laura and A.J. Oles-Carden, Angelina Jaden Veliu, and Adrianna Gevria Rae Veliu, to carry forward his memory and spirit.
He also leaves behind his special friends, Thomasina Veliu, Mike Siess, Allen Oles and Samantha Jeffries, his cherished grandchildren-Blakely, Kaleb, Chasity, Heavenly, Addison, Landri, Jackson, and Rayden Jr.-his mother, Wanda Bristow, and his siblings, Pam, Virginia, Michael, and Sam; along with many nieces, nephews, close friends, and many others whose lives he touched.
John is reunited in peace with his father, Daniel Bristow, and his brother, Ronny Bristow.
A service to honor John's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on April 25, 2026, at Free Indeed Revival Ministries in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that arrangements be sent to the church.
John will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. His life, his love, and his presence will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
