Dan Bristow

CLOVIS, N.M. - Dan Bristow, 75, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2002.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today in First United Methodist Church with Dr. Steve McElroy, minister, and the Rev. Lewis Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Mission Garden of Memories with Masonic rites by Clovis Lodge No. 40 AF&AM. Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home.

Mr. Bristow moved back to Clovis in 1974 where he resumed the family business. He loved the Clovis Wildcat football team and loved to hunt.

Survivors include his wife, Jean; seven children, Danise Gallaway and Linda Thompson, both of Marietta, Okla., Larry Bristow of Albuquerque, Mati Tharp of Clovis, Robert Brock of St. Jo, Texas, Niki Powell of Thackerville, Okla., and Steve Brock of Texas; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
