Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 at the funeral home with family there to receive visitors. Ronnie passed away in Miami, OK on Saturday, April 18, 2026. He was 64 years old.

Born in Tulsa, OK on May 17, 1961, to Louis W. and Mildred Ada (Staton) Brinlee Sr. Ronnie was raised and educated in Chelsea and graduated from Chelsea High School with the Class of 1979. On May 16, 1988, in Chelsea, OK, Ronnie married the love of his life Tracy Davidson. Their marriage was gifted with 2 children, Kyle and Kaylee. Ronnie provided for his family installing sports and residential hard wood floors.

Ronnie was a true cowboy at heart. He enjoyed attending rodeos and was pretty good at riding bulls. Ronnie won the bull riding event several times at the Bob Crosby Memorial Rodeo here in Chelsea. He won the Windsong Ranch Old Timers Rodeo for bull riding as well. Ronnie also won and placed in many other rodeos. He liked to fish and couldn’t wait for the crappie to start biting at Grand Lake. According to his family Ronnie was the first one ready to go for an occasional trip to the Casino. Ronnie was dearly loved by his family and friends.

No story about Ronnie would be complete without mentioning his work at the ARK in Miami, OK. It was there that he was not only the operations manager; but served as a counselor for those that came there for help. The ARK as it is known is actually a program called FFATC, which stands for Freedom from Addiction Through Christ. Ronnie was loved by all his coworkers and was instrumental in changing the direction of many lives of those enrolled in the program.

A man that has left a huge footprint and legacy that will live on in the lives of his family and friends. Ronnie is survived by his daughter, Kaylee Jones and husband Gus, grandchildren, Dason and Gage, brothers, Louis Brinlee Jr., Eddy Brinlee and wife Susan and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Tracy, and son, Kyle Adam Brinlee.
