Lawana Jeanette (DeSignori) Briedwell
August 1, 1945 ~ October 1, 2020

Lawana Jeanette DeSignori Carroll Briedwell was scooped up into the arms of our Lord and Savior Thursday October 1, 2020 at the age of 75 at home with her loving family.

Lawana was born August 1, 1945 to Quanah and Lee DeSignori in Wichita Falls Texas.

Lawana graduated from Grandfield high school Grandfield OK, where she grew up with her loving foster family. Lawana was known in school as the kindest person ever. Her senior year she was voted Band Queen and won Miss Congeniality in the Miss Grandfield pageant. Lawana eventually moved to Durant, where she met and married her beloved husband Ronald Briedwell in 1972. Lawana was a caregiver, working as a CNA, ambulance attendant, private caregiver for others, family and friends. In 1985 Lawana decided to follow her dream and become a nurse. In just one short year Lawana graduated as a LPN 2nd in her class.

Lawana was the best mom, wife, daughter, sister, nana and friend known by all. She loved her family deeply and spoiled her grandchildren. She was an inspiration, kind, loving, caring, and compassionate. She will be missed by her family and all that knew her.

Lawana leaves behind, her loving husband, Ronald Briedwell of 48 years. Daughters, Misty Dickey& husband David. Christi Giles and fiancé Alan Watkins. 2 sons Ronnie Briedwell and Stoney Briedwell. Grands Tamara, Brooke, Nathan, Dusty, Koy, Ethan, Kelly, Morganne, Koby, Selah, Koliah, Denise and Mia. 14 great grands. 2 brothers Johnny Beshirs of Mead and Geary Beshirs wife Carolyn Durant. And numerous nieces and nephews.

Lawana is proceeded in death by both sets of parents, brother Larry Designori, brother Ronny DeSignori, nephew Tracy Beshirs
