Allen R. Brewer

Jan. 8, 1923 ~ Sept. 30, 2006

Burial with full military rites for Allen R. Brewer will be at a later date in Fort Rosecran's Cemetery, San Diego. He was cremated at his request. Ar-rangements are by Telo-phase Crematory Society of San Diego.

He was born Jan. 8, 1923, in Enid and died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006, in San Diego.

He grew up in Enid and enlisted in Army Air Corps where he served as a pilot in the 20th Air Force stationed in Guam. His unit received a presidential citation for activities against Japan in World War II.

Surviving are his wife Ruth Louise Brewer of San Diego; daughter, Carol Albright of Humble, Texas; stepchildren, Bob and Peggy Sawyer of San Diego and Colorado Springs, Colo.; a brother, Jess Brewer of Enid; three sisters, Dorothy Carner and Norma Hatfield, both of Enid, and Naomi Batson of Billings, Mo.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one daughter.

Condolences may be sent to his wife at 8301 Mission Gorge Rd., #100, Santee, Calif. 92071.
