Martha Lee Bratcher

May 31, 1951 ~ March 8, 2021

Graveside memorial services for Martha Lee Bratcher, 69, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 1 at Rest Haven Cemetery, Gainesville, Texas with David Whittington officiating.

Born May 31, 1951 to George and Mattie Bratcher, she died Monday, March 8, 2021 after a long battle with cancer and COVID-19.

Martha was of the Baptist faith. Retiring after 25 years from the Department of Human Services in Gainesville, she decided to return to work and was employed at WinStar for a few years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mattie Bratcher; brothers, Wayne Bratcher and wife Yolanda, Elgie Bratcher and wife Virginia, Marion Bratcher and wife Voncele, and Joe Bratcher.

Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Barbara Russell and husband Ray; and the love of her life, her little dog Jazzi.
