Adrienne (Gantt) Braley

Adrienne (Gantt) Braley
July 15, 1977 ~ June 24, 2015 (age 37)

Adrienne Gantt Braley, adored by her children and loved by so many, passed away on the evening of Wednesday, June 24, 2015 with her Mother by her side, much too soon at the age of 37 years. Not one to back down from adversity, Adrienne fearlessly faced the challenges of life and even her health with great resolve and courage. She enjoyed the outdoors and spent countless hours in the woods hunting game and on the lakes and streams where she loved to fish. Academically, Adrienne was quite accomplished, earning her B.S. in Sociology from the University of Oklahoma and her M.A. in Criminal Justice Administration from Oklahoma City University. She was also a member of Phi Beta Kappa and following her education, worked ten years in the U.S. Marshall Service before founding her own business, Barrett Concierge in 2012.

While important, these attributes and achievements pale in comparison to her greatest legacy as a devoted and loving Mother to her three children, Mason, Olivia and Gavin. Whether it was cheering them on at their games or soothing the hurt from a skinned knee, being a Mom was the highlight of her life … she loved them and they loved her. A favorite tradition each night was gathering the kids together and reading stories to them before bedtime. Her life and legacy will live on in each of them.

In addition to her children, Adrienne is survived by her Mother, Diane Williams Gantt; her Grandparents, Patricia and Walter Williams; her Aunt and Uncle, Jim and Debra Riddle; as well as the Father of her children, Mark Russell Braley.

o honor and celebrate Adrienne’s life, her family invites you to share in a service at 10 a.m. Monday, June 29TH at Havenbrook Funeral Home. For those considering a memorial contribution, the family suggests they be made to the “OK Kids Corral,” an amazing home-away-from-home for youth battling cancer and their loved ones. Contributions to this worthy cause may be mailed to 818 N.E. 8th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73104 or online at www.tobykeithfoundation.org.
