Alice Mae Braisher

August 7, 1915 ~ April 1, 2004

Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park, 2739 Panama Ln., Monday, April 5, at 2:30 p.m., for Alice Mae Braisher, 88, who passed away April 1, 2004, in Bakersfield.

Alice was born August 7, 1915, in Anadarko, OK, and resided in Kern County for 59 years. She was a housekeeper for convalescent homes for 15 years.

Alice is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Dianne Braisher of Bakersfield and Verland and Sally Braisher of Hayward; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Don Thomassen of Lompoc, Ila and William Kerr of Tehachapi and Ann and Claude Cavanaugh of Georgia; 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and sisters, Bonnie Deal and Bennie Winifield and husband, Jay.

A special thanks to her friends and caregivers at Westchester Gardens.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 4 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
