Betty L (Stone) Boyer

Betty L. Boyer, 84, of Muskogee, formerly of Poteau, passed away Aug. 17, 2009, in Poteau. She was born Dec. 12, 1924, in Springfield. Mo. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Muskogee. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Aaron Logwood, and her parents, Earnest A. and Gertrude (Denham) Stone.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene T. Boyer of the home; two daughters and sons-inlaw, Judy and Ed Logwood of Harrisonville, Mo., and Sherrie and Mike Jones of Poteau; a son and daughter-inlaw, Steve and Marianna Boyer of Chesapeake, Va.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives, friends and loved ones.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, with Rev. Jimmy D. Cook officiating.

Interment was in White Chapel Cemetery, Springfield, Mo. Evans and Miller Funeral Home, Poteau, was in charge of arrangements. An on line message may be left at evansandmillerfuneralhomes. com.
