Pryor-
Gerry Kenton Boyd, a beloved husband, father, brother, and
friend, passed away on April 3, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on July 12,
1940, in Wagoner, Oklahoma, Gerry lived a life marked by kindness,
dedication, and an unwavering work ethic that left a lasting impact on all
who knew him.
He was a man who possessed a great sense of humor and a deeply kind heart. Known for his selflessness and willingness to work tirelessly behind the scenes, he was always ready to support and help others in need. His nature was inherently generous, consistently placing the needs of others above his own. His commitment to family and community was evident in every aspect of his life.
He served honorably in the Air National Guard from 1962 to 1968, exemplifying the same dedication and discipline that characterized his entire life. He was one of the founders of RAE Corporation and a respected leader who guided and uplifted those around him, serving as a trusted source of wisdom, a motivator, and a steadfast cheerleader to all who had the privilege of working with him.
Gerry’s family was the cornerstone of his life. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Boyd, of Pryor, who shared his journey through life together; his devoted daughters, Tracy Bell and Sarah Sinclair, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Kelly Boyd of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his brother, Michael Boyd of Norman, Oklahoma; his sisters, Carol Gardner of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Brenda Replogle of Bixby, Oklahoma; and his cherished grandchildren, Camryn Sinclair, Peyton Sinclair, and Reagan Bell; and a large number of loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, H.K. and Elva Boyd, and sister, Nedra Hale.
Gerry Kenton Boyd’s legacy is one of kindness, hard work, and steadfast support for those around him. His greatest joy was taking care of his girls. His contributions, often carried out quietly and without fanfare, were deeply meaningful to many and will be remembered with great respect and affection. He leaves behind a family and community enriched by his generous spirit and enduring love.
His Celebration of Life will be held at Happy Valley aka The Farm, 1604 NE 1st St in Pryor, OK on Saturday, April 11 at 11:00. Bring your favorite Gerry, GK, or PAPA G story to share.
