Rocky Lynn Bowlin, 51, of Dewey, Oklahoma, died Sunday, May 16, 2021.

Rocky was born March 16, 1970, to parents Johnny Vernon and Sharon Elizabeth (Summerlin) Bowlin, in Riverton, Wyoming. He was educated at Bartlesville, Dewey, and Little Kansas High School.

He married Michele Bordner on May 20, 2012. Rocky worked as an artistic metal fabricator and sandblaster for Iron Horse Metal Works, an insulator for A-1 Insulation and an oilfield worker and laborer for multiple different companies.

He enjoyed spending time in nature. He loved going fishing, helping, and spending time with his friends and watching wrestling. He also liked building and repairing equipment in his shop, riding his lawnmower and he loved all animals.

Rocky was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon E. Bowlin.

He is survived by his wife, Michele; his father Johnny Bowlin; sister Beverly Newman-Bowlin, sister Evelyn Bowlin, brother Hal “Brad” and sister in law Stacy Bowlin and numerous nieces, nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Per Rocky’s request, private family services will be held at a later date.
