Dennis Paul Bowles

A private graveside service will be held Monday, December 17th, for Dennis Paul Bowles, formerly of Enid. Dennis was born on July 6, 1948, and passed from this world on November 7th, 2018, following a lengthy illness.

Dennis attended St. Joseph grade school, graduated from Memorial High School in 1967, and then joined the U.S. Army. He completed 2 tours in Viet Nam and, after an honorable discharge, made his home in Oklahoma City where he was employed.

Dennis loved old classical movies, road trips, and spending time with other veterans at the VA hospital. He had a patriotic and generous spirit. His family will miss his gentle and unassuming presence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Forest and Marjorie Bowles; sister, Judith Page; brothers, Tim and Tom; niece, Amber Bowles.

Surviving are his brothers, John, Tulsa, Jim, Oklahoma City, Chris, Monroe, N.C., Carl, Blanchard, and Martin, Enid; sisters Mary McCormick, Enid, Ann Ngoran, Oklahoma City, and Lisa Bowles, Norman.
